A Turtle’s History


Alan, as he preferred, was born in 1951 in Pennsylvania.

Alan first performed with the Chorale in June 1985 in “Texas Countdown…150.” He sang with the Chorale through March 1989 and the concert “Requiem.” During this
time he was featured in several productions as follows:

“Bravo!” – September 1985 – sang “O Fillii et Filiae”, “Holy” & “Echo Song” with the
small group Turtle Creek Jazz

“Jubilate” – December 1985 – sang “The Three Kings” as part of an Octet

“Intermezzo” – March 1986 – sang “Georgia On My Mind” with the Turtle Creek Jazz

“Pops ’86; – June 1986 – sang “Sincerely” with the Turtle Creek Jazz

Alan also served as Treasurer and a Member of the Board of Directors during the 7th & 8th Chorale seasons.

Alan passed away on July 7, 1992.

At the time of his death, Alan was survived by his Mother; Dorothy Hajek.
