A Turtle’s History
Cornell first performed with the Chorale in “THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME” in June 1994 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and on Texas Tour.
He sang with the Chorale through March 1996. During this time, he was featured in the following productions:
BETTY, BROADWAY AND THE BOYS – October 1994 – sang “Old Fiends” from Merrily We Roll Along with ENCORE!
BLAST FROM THE PAST & BEST FROM THE FUTURE – December 1994 – sang “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas” with ENCORE!
HOLIDAY OF THE FUTURE – December 1995 sang “Santa-ma-Jazz” with ENCORE! and “Christmas Fits” with ENCORE! and Acafellas.
Cornell served as the Cultural Diversity Coordinator and a Member of the Board of Directors during the Chorale’s 15th season.
He passed away on November 20, 1996.
