A Turtle’s History
Ed was born Edwin Ramon Rodriguez December 21, 1956 in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
He first performed with the Chorale in “T.C.C. and S.M.C.” in March 1990 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. He sang with the Chorale through October 1983.
He was terrific dancer who was featured in many productions as follow:
I’M DREAMING OF A WHAT CHRISTMAS? – December 1990 – played the part of a Reindeer
A NIGHT AT THE OPERA – March 1991 – sang “Rigoletto Quartette” with ENCORE!
LA DI DA! – WHEN WE NO LONGER TOUCH – October 1991 – sang “Ghost Riders In The Sky” & “Dos Arbolitos” with ENCORE!
TESTAMENT – June 1992 – sang “Candide – It Don’t Mean A Thing” as a solo.
MAGIC! – December 1992 – played in the Tutti Fruiti Skit
THE WIZARD OF OZ – October 1993 – played the part of a Jitterbug.
He passed away December 24, 1995 in Dallas, Texas
