A Turtle’s Tribute:
CLEMENT, HOWARD FRANCIS, M.D., 70, a retired surgeon, died peacefully Wednesday morning, July 17, 2002 at local care center.
Memorial service: 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. Rev. Cyndy Twedell, Associate Minister at University Christian Church, will officiate.
Cremation: Dr. Clement’s cremated remains will be laid to rest with family members in the Fairview Cemetery, Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Visitation: His family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service. Memorials: Those desiring, please make memorial contributions in Howard’s name to the Leukemia Society or a charity of choice.
A native of Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada, Howard Francis Clement was born July 29, 1931, the son of Frank and Madelaine Adley Clement. He obtained his medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and trained in Montreal, Quebec, Harrisburg, PA. and London, England.
After returning to Canada, Howard established a general surgery practice in Niagra Falls. In 1978, he and his family moved to Texas where he set up practice in Fort Worth; he retired in 1997.
Howard was a dedicated and respected physician throughout his career. His gentle and caring nature will be missed by many. Survivors: Daughters, Leslee Clement Diston, Niagra Falls, Ontario, and Janice Clement Wilson, Aledo; son, Jay Clement, The Woodlands; nine grandchildren; and sisters, Norma Clement Weaver and Audrey Clement Robinson, both of Niagra Falls, Ontario.
