Jason Dean Kimmell, 48, of Granbury, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial of cremains: 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Elm Cemetery, County Road 365 in Gorman. While flowers are welcome, the family suggests contributions to the Elm Cemetery Association at DeLeon Auto Supply, 200 North Texas Street, DeLeon, TX 76444.
Jason graduated from Granbury High School and attended Trinity University and the University of Texas Arlington.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Sandra Kimmell of Granbury and a host of family and friends.
A Turtle’s History
Jason formally joined on Aug. 24, 1996 and (rejoined) Aug. 30, 2009.
He sang a total of 39 concerts.
His first concert was On Our Own in Oct. 1996 and his final performance was Together in Sept. 2016
He was a member of the Chamber Chorus in the 32nd and 33rd seasons and he was a member of Camerata in the 33rd season
He was a member of the small group Acafellas in the 17 th and 18 th seasons and he was a member of the small group Vox Tortoise in the 20th season.
He was also a member of the Arhive/Historical Committee
