Kip died on September 18, 2003.

At the time of his death, he was survived by his mother Mrs. Melvin Watkins.

A Turtle’s History

Kip joined the Turtle Creek Chorale in 1993. His first performance was in The Wizard of Oz in October 1993.

Kip was featured in several productions while with the Chorale.

He played a Deck The Hall Crier in the December 1993 production of “A Roamin’ Holiday”

Kip sang “Gesu Bambino” as a solo in the December 1994 production of Blast From The Past & Best From The Future

He sang “Sit Down You’re Rockin'” from Guys and Dolls in the June 1998 production of TONY!

And he sang “Christmas in the Cloister” as a solo in the December 1998 production of Fireside Chats.

His last performance with the Chorale was in A Testament To Freedom in June 2002.
