A Turtle’s History

Kirk first performed with the Chorale in “TUX DELUX” in October 1984 at Caruth Auditorium, Southern Methodist University. He sang with the Chorale through June 1986. He was featured in the following productions.

TUX DELUX – October 1984 – sang “It Might As Well Be Spring” as a solo

JUBILATE – December 1985 – sang “Estampie Natalis” as part of an Octet

INTERMEZZO – March 1986 – sang “Gloria” as part of a Quartet; sang “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” as a solo and sang “Praise the Lord (Dextera Domini)” as part of an Ensemble and revoiced “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” by Metis

During the 5th & 6th Seasons, he was also a Tenor I Section Leader and an Accompanist.
