A Turtle’s Tribute:

A Turtle’s History

Bob first performed with the Chorale in “RHAPSODY” in July 1983 at the Caruth Auditorium, Southern Methodist University. Robert sang with the Chorale through May 1990.

In the December 1985 production of Jubilate!, Bob sang The Three Kings as part of an Octet and in the June 1986 production of Pops ‘86, he sang Best Little Whorehouse in Texas as part of the Watchdog Octet.

Bob was a past president of the TCC in its 7th season. During the Chorales 6th season he served as a Member at Large and on the Advertising Sales Committee. Bob was a Member of the Board of Directors during the 6th and 7th seasons.

He piloted the Chorale through some very difficult and important years in its early development. His sister-in-law, Jeannette Teel, was one of our first office managers (in the early days when there were only two people in the TCC office: the artistic director and the office manager).

Robert passed away in September 1991.
