A Turtle’s History
William Douglas (Bill) Olds was a baritone in the TCC from 1991 through 1996.
He was born Sept. 19, 1963 and died Aug. 10, 2018. His first performance was “A Night on Broadway” in June 1991. His last performance was “Simply Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child” in Dec. 1996.
He was the Baritone Administrative Section Leader during the 13the season. He was also a member of the small group ENCORE! for several seasons and had several featured roles in his TCC career:
1991 “Fa La La” – he played an S.P.F. in Santa’s 2-fer Discount Wholesale Warehouse Club skit;
1992 “Magic!” – he played Richard Stemmons
1993 “The Wizard of Oz” – he played the role of Endora
1993 “A Roamin’ Holiday” – he sang “Jingle Bell Rock” with ENCORE!
1994 “There’s No Place Like Home” – he sang “The Menu Song” with ENCORE!
