A Turtle’s Tribute:

Wayne was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 5, 1956. He moved to this area to attend Keene College for a degree in music education. He fell in love with the Metroplex and, to the end, it was his wish that he live and die in Fort Worth.

Wayne worked for American Airlines. He was also a volunteer with the Names Project in Fort Worth. He was very gregarious.

He went to California to visit his parents early in the year. He became ill and died on March 5, 1993 at age 36.

From Tina Book:

Remembering Wayne,

Wayne was a friend of mine and we worked together at American Airlines in the Tour Department.

I will always remember Wayne as a kind man, friendly, funny, and always had an “Up” attitude (and great shoes). How could you not love this man!

Wayne, I am happy to have know you, I miss you and You Are Not Forgotten!

A Turtle’s History

He first performed with the Chorale in “T.C.C. and S.M.C.” in March 1990 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
